Rowlinson Timber has announced that it is to rejoin the industry-leading trade association, Timber Trade Federation (TTF).
Established in 1926, Rowlinson is a leading timber importer, stockist and wholesaler dealing with mills in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Scandinavia and Europe.
Kevin Hayes, TTF President, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rowlinson Timber back into membership after such a long absence and very much look forward to their involvement in the TTF. Rowlinson's decision comes during some of the most challenging times for our industry which makes it all the more significant and indeed, a fantastic endorsement for all the work currently underway at the TTF. We hope others out there will take note of this and recognise the value a pro-active trade organisation such as the TTF can add to their businesses."
Rowlinson Timber Managing Director, John Bate, said: “Our decision to rejoin the Federation reflects our active commitment to the growth and development of the UK timber industry. We are pleased the TTF will once again be representing our interests to key stakeholders and look forward to a long and rewarding partnership.â€
John White, TTF Chief Executive, said: “The return of an important and highly regarded company such as Rowlinson represents another significant milestone in the renaissance of the TTF. â€
